Attendant

We are recruiting an Attendant Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 20.4
Contract Type: Part Time, Permanent
Location: Newbridge Leisure Centre
Team: Sport and Leisure Services

We pay an attractive salary of £14,105 – £14,329 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

An exciting opportunity exists for dynamic and confident individuals to become part of the leisure attendant team of Caerphilly County Borough Council Leisure Services.

This post will include evening and weekend work at one or more of CCBC’s Leisure facilities. These hours will be worked on a rotating basis, if you require further information on the available hours, please contact the recruiting manager using the details provided below.

Responsibilities

• Life-guarding of a busy swimming pool.
• Off pool activities including hall change overs and equipment set up.
• Completing cleaning duties and checklists.
• Attendance at monthly staff training sessions.

Qualifications

• Good communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience of working in customer focused environments.

Applicants are required to have an up-to-date Level 2 Award in Pool Life-guarding as well as a valid First Aid at Work qualification.
