Overview
We are recruiting 2 x Assistant Accountant’s at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Office based / Home working / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
Team: Finance Support – Communities and Corporate Services
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.
We pay an attractive salary of £35,412 – £38,220 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The postholders will support the Finance Manager and Principal Group Accountant in the provision of financial management information and advice to services within the Corporate Services Directorate and the Communities Directorate.
You will also be responsible for providing financial advice and accounting support to service managers including production of designated budget monitoring reports and management information, preparation of service budgets, grant claims and financial outturn. Contributing to the effective monitoring and evaluation of designated service performance.
