Overview

Location: Oxford House. Team: Adult Community Learning. This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization. We pay an attractive salary of £16.35 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities. Tutors will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver their chosen subject to groups of adult learners in a variety of locations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver courses to groups of adult learners in a variety of locations.
  • Complete quality paperwork, as requested.
  • Complete accreditation with adult learners, as appropriate.
  • Work as part of the ACL tutor team.

Qualifications

  • A Teaching qualification (preferably PGCE/Cert Ed/B Ed)
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience in delivering learning programmes to adults, as appropriate
  • Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to provide classes
