We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ty Penallta/ Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
Team: Transportation Engineering
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.
We pay an attractive salary of Β£25,584 β Β£27,269 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will be required to produce a high level of accuracy and efficiency in the full range of administrative support processes with minimum supervision.
You will be responsible for monitoring contract arrangements at education establishments and duties relating to recording and checking that information is in accordance with the contracts.
The postholder will be capable of making and receiving phone calls from schools, parents and transport providers.
You will maintain good working relationships through effective communication and teamwork, ensuring the service is effectively supported and have the ability to work under pressure and to very tight timescales.
For the role, we ask that you have:
5 GSCEs Grade A*-C or equivalent qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CWFW). Or a relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CWFW). For example NVQ2 in Administration.
Excellent IT skills and familiarity with a range of Microsoft packages especially Word, Excel and Outlook (email).
Experience of working in a busy office environment in an administration role.
