The Operations Manager for Naval Operations is primarily responsible for services delivery, contract and customer management across sustainment programs. They will manage the relationship with the Contract Delegates and the Contract Authorities where required and also manage customer and services operations across Training Centres, primarily at Randwick Barracks, ensuring that all key objectives of the contracts and service delivery are met. This includes but is not limited to management of cost, schedule, quality, risk, safety and customer service. The Operations Manager will collaborate with the BD & Strategy Teams, Functional and Capability Managers (CAPMs) to deliver services. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe operational delivery and integration of recurring Maintenance, Engineering, and Platform support services (including air and ground-based training when required) for their assigned sites and platforms to meet contract requirements.
Description
- Development and maintenance of the partnership with Defence in the delivery of services across the Training Authority
- Manage the on-site operations to ensure the delivery of CAE Services
- Be the point of escalation within the on-site, managing risk and coordination of CAE capabilities
- Ensure our service delivery meets EH&S requirements for installation, operation and maintenance
- Responsible for safety culture across the CAE Training Centre
- Customer liaison, including on-site attendance at meetings and acting as the first point of contact
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong portfolio/program management and customer management experience
- Prior experience working within a Defence environment
- Proven financial/business acumen
- Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an AU Citizen!
- Ability to work onsite at the Randwick Barracks, and/or other Naval Training Centres as required
