This role reports to the C-27J Key Account Manager and Lead Instructor, providing training and expertise for Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification, upgrade courses, and current training. The position is based at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mission briefs and debriefs
- Deliver simulator instruction to C-27J pilot students
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians on simulator issues
- Assist in developing and improving training materials
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years Military or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment
- At least 1000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, tactical transport aircraft like C-27J or C-130J
- Experience as a flight simulator instructor is highly regarded
- Possess or able to gain Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or equivalent experience
