We’re looking to get two desktop admin / support staff.
Duration: 1 – 1.5 months
When: starting from next week
Qualifications Required:
- ITIL, MCSA, MCDST, or CompTIA A+ certification
- At least 5 years’ hands-on support experience in a Windows 7/8/10 desktop administration or support role, preferably from a financial services institution with at least 100 PC’s
- Proficiency in developing and modifying scripts to automate tasks with PowerShell or VBScript
- Diverse troubleshooting skills to investigate system issues (event logs, GPResult, perfmon, process dumps)
- General understanding of Active Directory (GPO, OU, Groups)
- General network knowledge and troubleshooting (HTTP, DNS, DHCP protocols, TCP/IP stack with known ports and basic commands, SMTP, SNMP)
- Experience troubleshooting remotely (psexec, WMI, RPC)
- Knowledge of desktop PC hardware and components
- Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V
- Background in Enterprise management and experience working with System Center Control Manager (SCCM and/or SMS), Windows enterprise technologies, DFS, IIS, SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business
- Application Packaging using Windows Installer (.MSI) and SMS Installer
