The Role
As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for technical queries, ensuring our customers gain maximum value from our software. You will also play a key role in product improvement, customer training, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for our full suite of CADS software
- Deliver pre- and post-sales support, training sessions, and webinars
- Collaborate with the development team by providing feedback, testing, and technical insights
- Work closely with sales to identify upselling opportunities
- Manage customer accounts and foster long-term relationships
- Actively promote CADS’ design and detailing applications
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving software issues
About You
- Chartered or near-chartered Structural Engineer (minimum 3–4 years’ experience)
- Strong applied technical knowledge in structural engineering
- Excellent IT literacy, particularly with Windows environments
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- A customer-focused, methodical approach with a genuine interest in engineering software
- Experience in geotechnical or civil engineering design
- Familiarity with structural analysis/modelling tools such as CADS, geotechnical applications, or Dlubal (training will be provided if required)
