Responsibilities
- Develop and refine CFD methodologies to improve predictive accuracy and correlation.
- Work with Aerodynamicists to ensure modeling approaches meet development needs and are well understood.
- Investigate and validate new numerical methods, turbulence models, and workflow improvements.
- Contribute to external aero, internal flow, and thermal modeling domains.
- Collaborate with Process and Software Engineers to ensure methodologies are robust, repeatable, and production‑ready.
- Communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
- Support ongoing technical development and knowledge growth within the CFD group.
Qualifications
- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Software Engineering, or a related discipline with Aerodynamics/CFD focus.
- 2+ years' experience in a relevant motorsport CFD role.
- Strong programming skills with Python, JavaScript or C++.
- Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical stakeholders.
- Experience with commercial/open‑source CFD solvers.
- Experience developing automated workflows or optimisation pipelines.
