Cadillac Formula 1β’ is excited to be on the grid for the 2026 FIA Formula Oneβ’ World Championship. Our new team is gearing up for rapid growth. To achieve our goals, we need to create and sustain a high-performance culture in every area. We have ambitious plans to build an outstanding operation that can compete at the highest level.
We have an opportunity for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be performing calculations, Finite Element analysis and optimizations of Car Structures at the Assembly and component level. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. What you will be doing:
- Support your allocated design group by performing analyses and optimizations to achieve weight efficient robust designs.
- Prepare reports of the work you have done to present at design reviews and for future reference.
- Liaise with other FEA engineers to enhance efficiency and accuracy of Analyses across the FEA group.
- Scrutinize load cases for design and analysis purposes.
- Supervise and mentor graduate FEA Engineers within your allocated design group.
Requirements:
- Experience in F1 or Top-Tier motorsport companies or aerospace.
- A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
- Extensive experience in FEA, ideally with the Altaire suite of products.
- Experience of Composite analysis preferred.
- Experience of optimisation packages.
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc).
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
- The ability to foster collaboration and achieve project objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
