As a Senior Aero Software Engineer at The Cadillac Formula 1® Team, you’ll design and develop software solutions that enable our aerodynamics team to capture, process, and visualize critical wind tunnel data. Your work will directly help aerodynamicists find performance for our race cars.

  • Design, implement, and maintain custom software tools for the aerodynamics department, focusing on wind tunnel systems.
  • Work across the full stack—from database to user interface—integrating with wind tunnel processes.
  • Take ownership of tasks and projects from concept to delivery.
  • Drive capability improvements for our users and advocate best practices in software engineering.

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven programming skills in Python and associated technologies.
  • Experience working with SQL databases (ideally SQL Server).
  • Demonstrable experience writing data processing software, including applying mathematical operations to time-series data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
