As the Finance Manager you will manage all things cash for our UK entity. Responsible for analyzing all financial data, preparing cash flow reports and group cash reporting, and contributing to strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and analysis of short and long-term cash flow forecasts; performance to forecast and ensure group reporting is submitted accurately and timely.
- Consolidation of US and UK cash forecasts and reporting to actual.
- Assist the Financial Controller in implementing an appropriate treasury strategy, managing funding requirements and liquidity needs.
- Prepare consolidated shareholder reporting for cash, including short term and long term forecasts, actuals reporting with full variance commentary, annual budget reporting and quarterly capital call reporting.
- Work closely with the business partnering team to ensure accuracy of forecasts and being able to fully explain variances to budgets and forecast.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy whilst championing best practices in financial governance and control.
- Manage and support the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Support the financial accounting team with their month end close activities.
- Management of corporate credit cards.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant - ACCA / ACA with good experience in PQE.
- Proven experience of managing short and long-term cash flow forecasts with detailed performance to forecast analysis.
- Previous experience of managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Strong understanding of FRS 102 and US GAAP.
- Line management experience.
- High attention to detail.
- High resilience with experience in working in a changeable environment with competing deadlines.
