Please Note: This is a Weekend Shift position working 3 days x 12 hours rotated between Friday – Sunday and Saturday – Monday from 6am – 6:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Trim and finish composite components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely during the trimming process.
- Inspect finished components for defects, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
- Collaborate with assembly and production teams to ensure timely workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement in the trimming process.
- Participate in training and development to enhance technical skills related to composite trimming and assembly.
Requirements:
- Experience in composite trimming/fitting, preferably within the F1®/motorsport or aerospace sectors.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- A methodical and thorough approach with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools associated with composite trimming processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a willingness to be flexible during busy periods.
- Experience of assembling Class A components while following QA documentation and company processes.
- Experience of in line inspection/scanning would be desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a continually evolving industry.
- Adherence to safety and quality standards in all aspects of work.
