The HR MI Specialist designs, develops, and maintains robust HR Management Information (MI) solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the People & Culture function. This includes leveraging HiBob for accurate HR data, building Power BI dashboards for actionable insights, and creating reward and compensation models in Excel to support workforce planning and pay strategies. The role ensures data integrity, compliance, and delivers meaningful analytics that inform strategic and operational HR decisions. Responsibilities
- Manage the complete HR data lifecycle by extracting and transforming data from HiBob and related systems, building repeatable processes, ensuring data quality and accuracy through robust controls, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights on key HR metrics, ensuring accuracy and usability for stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based reward and compensation models for salary reviews, bonus allocations, and scenario planning to support strategic pay decisions.
- Support workforce planning and forecasting with use of current tools to model headcount, attrition, and hiring scenarios, supporting budget cycles and strategic workforce decisions.
- Translate business requirements into clear MI solutions, provide training and guidance to the P&C Team, and promote data literacy across the People & Culture function.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, optimize data models, and enhance dashboard performance for efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure GDPR compliance and data security by implementing robust access controls, audit trails, and risk management practices across all HR MI solutions.
- Lead HR MI-related projects, collaborating with providers (e.g. HiBob) and internal teams to deliver integrations, enhancements, and analytics capability improvements on time.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on HR trends and issues, applying statistical techniques where appropriate, and present insights with clear recommendations for action.
- Maintain playbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation to ensure consistency, repeatability, and best practices in HR reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with HRIS platforms, ideally HiBob, including data extraction, configuration, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Strong ability to build and maintain reward and compensation models using Excel, including scenario planning and cost analysis.
- Understanding of data integrity, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Familiarity with core HR processes (e.g., workforce planning, absence, performance, compensation) to contextualize data insights.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
- High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Proactive and innovative in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy regulations.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for creating technical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach, working closely with P&C, Finance and IT teams.
