We have an opportunity for a Junior ADM Technician on our late shift, Monday to Friday from 4pm to 1am, to join the Team at our new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts using a variety of rapid prototyping technologies. You will work closely with design engineers to create prototype parts for Wind Tunnel testing and the full-size race car. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. What you will be doing:

  • Operate 3D printers, and other rapid prototyping equipment.
  • Finishing of motorsport components across all additive technologies including cleaning, sanding and blasting.
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated to learn and be developed in areas such as programming.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to produce RP parts for Wind Tunnel testing.
  • Maintaining the workflow of the rapid prototyping department.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and make repairs as they arise with the supervision from senior team members.
  • Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, particularly related to RP builds.
  • Work with design teams and engineers to determine material specifications and requirements.
  • Support and assist the ADM department to ensure on time delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an ADM department (Motorsports is preferable).
  • Engineering Operative/Technician Qualification Level 3 or above (or similar).
  • A broad knowledge across multiple ADM technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design engineers.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
