We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-informed financial decision-making. This role bridges performance data, financial insights, and strategic initiatives to enhance both on-track competitiveness and off-track profitability.

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, KPIs) with clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Build and optimise scalable data models using DAX and Power Query.
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimisation with data-driven insights.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and consistency across financial datasets and source systems.
  • Integrate multiple data sources into unified, high-performance reporting models.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging new Power BI features, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Support AI-driven reporting, including forecasting and anomaly detection, in collaboration with data science teams.
  • Own BI roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Communicate insights effectively to both finance and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design).
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and validation processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
  • Exposure to Azure, cloud data platforms, or data warehousing solutions.
  • Experience with Python or other analytical tools.
