Please Note: This is a Weekend Shift position working 4 days x 10 hours Friday – Monday from 8am until 7pm, with a 1‑hour lunch.

We have an opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join the team at our Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. You will work closely with the Head of Facilities and other team members to identify and address facility‑related issues and support ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mechanical, minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure they are in good and working order.
  • Respond to facility‑related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and materials for projects.
  • Maintain and update facility maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for facility improvements.
  • Participate in meetings and training to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and systems.
  • Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks in various trade areas, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment related to facility maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
