In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture and testing of electrical components for both off and on-car systems, and support the operation of the electrical systems at selected trackside events:
- Manufacture of harnesses to support test sensor installation
- Electrical termination of sensors and assemblies
- Test and inspection of sensors, assemblies and harnesses
- Manufacture of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits
- Assist with the electrical car-build, ensuring all installation documentation is followed
- Support the operation of the electrical systems at selected trackside events
- Assist in the management of electronic component allocation across the business, respecting their life limits
- Consistently and proactively demonstrates the team values and behaviours
- Consistently follows H&S, Compliance, Sustainability, Policy and Best Practices
What do you need to bring to the team?
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline
- Experience of working at top-level motorsport with a proven ability to create wiring systems using Raychem products and motorsport connectors
- IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 (Class 3) certification would be advantageous
- Familiarity with calibration processes and associated test equipment
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email
- Self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines
- Strong levels of IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
