Composite Trim and Assembly Team Lead (Night Shift) in Silverstone

Please Note: This is a Night Shift position working 4 days x 10 hours Monday – Thursday from 6pm – 4:30am.

We are looking for a Composite Trim and Assembly Team Lead to take charge of a team responsible for the assembly of composite components. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our assembled parts meet the highest standards of quality and performance. • Lead, motivate, and supervise a trim and assembly team during your shift, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Ensure that all assembly processes are followed correctly, maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure components are manufacturable and align with design specifications.
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Implement and maintain safety and quality protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Excellent understanding of quality control and assurance standards.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging open communication and sharing of ideas.
• A methodical and thorough approach with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Oversee inline inspection procedures during the assembly process.

What do you need to bring to the team?

• Significant experience in composite assembly processes within the motorsport or aerospace sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing small teams.
• Excellent understanding of quality control and assurance standards.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide team members.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for motorsport and a commitment to excellence.
