Job Description

We are seeking passionate and talented graduates to join our team across a range of roles within the Aerodynamics and Design departments. These positions offer the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly influence race car performance in a high-pressure, high-reward environment.
Our graduate opportunities provide hands-on experience with real responsibilities, technical development through mentorship and collaboration, and exposure to the entire aerodynamic development lifecycle—from conceptual design to trackside correlation.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
- Graduate Surface Design Engineer
- Graduate Aerodynamics Engineer
- Graduate CFD Engineer – Methods
- Graduate CFD Engineer – Process
- Graduate Aero Performance Engineer

Purpose of the Graduate Programme

Our graduate programme is designed to fast-track the professional growth of engineers who are technically driven, detail-oriented, and hungry to deliver world-class performance in motorsport. You will rotate or embed into key technical functions, work with experienced mentors, and help shape the aerodynamic tools and components of a competitive Formula One car.

Graduate Surface Design Engineer

**Focus:** CAD Surface Modelling & Geometric Integration

**Key Responsibilities:**

· Design and develop high-quality surface geometry for CFD, wind tunnel models, and full-size car components.

· Collaborate with aerodynamicists and design engineers to understand aerodynamic intent and translate it into manufacturable geometry.

· Apply robust surfacing techniques using 3D CAD tools (CATIA 3DExperience).

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and model quality.

**Preferred Skills:**

· CAD proficiency (preferably CATIA)

· Knowledge of surface quality control and geometry robustness

· Understanding of aerodynamic integration requirements

Graduate Aerodynamics Engineer

**Focus:** Aerodynamic Concept Design & Development

**Key Responsibilities:**

· Analyse CFD and wind tunnel test data to assess performance.

· Support the generation and optimisation of aerodynamic concepts in line with development plans.

· Participate in multidisciplinary reviews and whole-car aero strategy.

· Communicate key findings, threats, and opportunities clearly to senior engineers.

**Preferred Skills:**

· Good understanding of fluid dynamics and CFD analysis

· Experience using CAD for aerodynamic modelling

· Passion for innovation and performance optimisation

Graduate CFD Engineer – Methods

**Focus:** Simulation Methodology & CFD Tool Development

**Key Responsibilities:**

· Improve the predictive capability and efficiency of CFD simulation methods.

· Develop and maintain processes for external/internal flow, thermal modelling, and automation.

· Collaborate with software engineers to deliver robust engineering toolkits.

· Contribute to the development of multi-disciplinary workflows for aero development.

**Preferred Skills:**

· Strong grasp of numerical methods and turbulence modelling

· Programming experience (Python, C++, MATLAB)

· Familiarity with STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or similar software

Graduate CFD Engineer – Process

**Focus:** Workflow Engineering & Simulation Infrastructure

**Key Responsibilities:**

· Develop robust, testable, and performant workflows and tools used across the CFD department.

· Optimise existing processes and create new automated solutions to improve simulation turnaround.

· Support end-users (aerodynamicists and engineers) with efficient, user-focused applications.

· Collaborate across disciplines to ensure alignment between simulation needs and tool capabilities.

**Preferred Skills:**

· Background in engineering computation, automation, or process development

· Programming skills in Python, C++, Java, or VBA

· Experience with CFD infrastructure and performance optimisation

Graduate Aero Performance Engineer

**Focus:** Correlation, Track Data Analysis & Performance Understanding

**Key Responsibilities:**

· Analyse on-track data and correlate it with simulation results to enhance the aero understanding of the car.

· Develop and maintain simulation tools used in pre/post-event analysis.

· Support cross-functional efforts between correlation, CFD, and testing groups.

· Contribute to the development of strategies for real-time and offline aero decision-making.

**Preferred Skills:**

· Strong analytical skills and experience with motorsport data

· Coding in MATLAB, Python or C++

· Understanding of aerodynamic behaviour and car performance metrics

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Aerospace, Aerodynamics, Mechanical Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, or Design).
  • Ideal for candidates with a degree and up to 2 years of experience
  • Strong technical skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with technical tools such as CAD, CFD, simulation platforms, and coding environments.
