Please Note: This is a Night Shift position working 4 days x 10 hours Monday – Thursday from 5pm – 3:30am.

We are looking for a highly skilled Metallic Machinist to join our team in Silverstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, producing high‑precision components that meet exacting specifications for motorsport applications. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and contribute to a culture of excellence within the machine shop.

  • Set up and operate 5 Axis CNC machines to produce precision metallic parts
  • Conduct basic inspections on completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to improve manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records of work done
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of new machinists

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • Proven experience as a 5 Axis Machinist, preferably in a motorsport or precision engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of 5 Axis CNC machining techniques, tools, and processes
  • Experience with Heidenhain
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, HyperMill would be an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Familiarity with tooling selection and machine maintenance
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
  • Flexible approach and a can‑do attitude
  • Commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace
