Fuelled by bold ambition

Play your part in getting us on the grid.

As an Aero Software Engineer at Cadillac Formula 1, you’ll be developing software solutions for the aerodynamics department which encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines: design, simulation, manufacturing, wind tunnel testing and data analysis. You will be working across the full stack from database through to user interface and you will be directly responsible for significant features and projects from requirement gathering through to testing and deployment.

This is a mid-level position suited to engineers who have already gained a strong foundation in professional software development. We\’re looking for individuals who can demonstrate hands-on experience delivering robust, performant solutions in a high-performance or technical environment—whether that’s through a structured graduate programme or other relevant industry experience. You’ll bring solid technical skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to contribute meaningfully from day one.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement and maintain custom software tools for the aerodynamics department.
  • Taking full ownership of tasks and projects from start to finish and drive delivery of capability to our users.
  • Advocate for and apply software engineering best practices.

Driven by high performance

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven programming skills using C# and/or Python and associated technologies.
  • Proven experience working with SQL databases, ideally SQL Server.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering software solutions in a technical or engineering environment, ideally gained through a graduate programme or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • A proactive, adaptable and pragmatic mindset to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

A team like no other.

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team challenges conventions and redefines success through bold ambition, cutting-edge innovation, and an unwavering commitment to precision and excellence—on and off the track. This includes offering industry-leading pension, generous time off and, as part of a global brand, huge potential for career development.

Please be aware that we will be reviewing applicants on a rolling basis and this job posting will close once a suitable candidate is identified. We encourage all interested individuals to submit their application as soon as possible.
