Late Shift Position: This position works 5 days × 8 hours Monday–Friday from 4pm to 1am.
Role Overview: We have an opportunity for an ADM Technician to join the team at the Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts using a variety of rapid prototyping technologies. You will work closely with design engineers to create prototype parts for wind tunnel testing and the full‑size race car.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain 3D printers and other rapid prototyping equipment
- Plan and program builds for 3D printing technologies
- Collaborate with design engineers to produce RP parts for wind tunnel testing
- Maintain the workflow of the rapid prototyping department
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Make repairs as necessary
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements
- Monitor and report on project progress, particularly related to RP builds
- Work with design teams and engineers to determine material specifications and requirements
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure on time delivery
- Be on call as part of the rota, 1 week in 9
Qualifications
- Experience working in an ADM department (motorsports preferable)
- Broad knowledge across multiple ADM technologies
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design engineers
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
