Our Multi-Award Winning Pharmacy offers excellent patient care across both NHS and private services and we are looking for new staff to join our amazing team. Cadham Pharmacy is uniquely patient focused and our experienced, hardworking pharmacists, and support staff are passionate about serving the community of Glenrothes.
Opportunities have arisen at Cadham Pharmacy for multiple Full-time Dispensing Assistant positions (40 hours). Applicant must be able to work Saturday 9am-5pm. Can consider part-time for the right applicant.
Some of your main responsibilities would be:
- Stock control e.g. ordering, receiving orders.
- Working with a Dispensing Robot and 4 x 24/7 Collections point robots.
- Safe supply of medicines e.g. labelling, dispensing, endorsing.
- Customer service e.g. handing out prescriptions, dealing with queries via the telephone and app.
- Ensuring dispensary is a clean and safe environment.
- Opportunities to be involved in other services provided by the pharmacy.
- Dispensing nomad (MDS) pouches via a dispensing robot.
- Nomad (MDS) medication changes.
- Communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals e.g. doctors, hospitals, practice pharmacists.
What you need:
- NVQ2 Dispensing Assistant qualification.
- Work collaboratively with a team centred approach.
- Have excellent communication skills; face to face interactions with patients in the Pharmacy/Colleagues and other health care professionals.
- Strong I.T skills are desirable.
- Excellent organisation skills.
Hourly rate will be negotiable and offered upon interview based on previous experience.
