Play a key role in delivering transformation across Securing Operations. We are looking for a Business Change and Transition Analyst at Cadent for an initial 12 month FTC (potential to extend). You’ll play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of the Securing Operations Programme, helping to embed change across the organisation and ensure smooth transition into business as usual operations.

Working within the Transformation and Programmes function, you’ll act as a central link between programme delivery teams and business operations, ensuring that change is clearly understood, effectively implemented and fully adopted. From developing change and transition plans through to supporting go live and stabilisation, you’ll help ensure that new ways of working are successfully embedded and aligned to Cadent’s operational and regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high impact transformation within a complex, regulated environment where your work directly supports operational resilience, security and service continuity.

Why you'll love this role

  • End to End Change Ownership – Lead and coordinate change and transition activities from planning through to implementation and steady state operations.
  • High Impact Programme Exposure – Work at the heart of the Securing Operations Programme, supporting critical organisational change.
  • Stakeholder Influence – Collaborate with programme leaders, operational teams and external partners to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Operational Readiness Focus – Ensure that processes, systems, governance and people are ready for change and fully prepared for transition.
  • Analytical & Insight Driven Work – Use data and analysis to inform decisions, assess readiness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture – Capture lessons learned and help evolve change and transition practices across the programme.

What you'll bring

  • Change & Transition Expertise – Experience delivering business change within large scale programmes or transformation environments. Strong understanding of operational readiness, transition planning and embedding change into BAU.
  • Planning & Coordination Skills – Ability to develop and maintain integrated change and transition plans. Experience managing dependencies, risks and competing priorities across programmes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Confident working with cross functional teams, programme leads and external partners. Ability to communicate complex change clearly and support alignment across the business.
  • Analytical Capability – Strong ability to analyse data, assess impacts and generate clear, actionable insights. Experience identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Governance & Compliance Awareness – Understanding of operational, regulatory and governance requirements within a structured environment.

If you’re passionate about driving change, improving operational performance and delivering transformation at scale, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a critical national infrastructure organisation.
