What you'll bring
- Technical Credentials - A HNC in a STEM subject, non-STEM equivalent qualifications will be considered based on operational experience. Professional engineering qualification (CEng or IEng) is preferred with a willingness to work towards if not already achieved essential.
- Operational Experience - Control room or operational experience preferred but not essential, as full training is provided.
- Sharp Decision-Making Skills - Ability to work calmly under pressure and make key decisions.
- Detail-Focused - Excellent data accuracy and monitoring abilities.
- Flexible - Able to work a rotational 24/7 shift pattern if required in line with agreed notice periods.
This is a shift working role, following a 24/7 rotational shift pattern. Two shift patterns apply: 24/7 shift working Morning/Afternoon and Night shifts attracting 26% shift allowance. Alternating shift pattern working Morning/Afternoon shifts Monday - Friday attracts 13.5% shift allowance (potentially utilised during periods of training).
