Join our Planning & Scheduling Team! We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to join our team in Planning & Scheduling Support. In this role, you’ll ensure efficient, compliant delivery of work within agreed processes and timelines, while maintaining accurate data and supporting operational planning.

You’ll provide excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders, build strong relationships, and consistently meet expectations. A commitment to continuous improvement, safety standards, and Cadent’s core values is essential, as is a customer-first mindset.

As the Planning & Scheduling Support expert you will be accountable for:

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Team Support - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, support and coach colleagues, and contribute to a high-performing, customer-focused team.
  • Operational Planning & Coordination - Assist in scheduling activities and coordinate work across departments, maintaining a holistic view of daily and long-term operational needs.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring - Analyse and interpret data to support team and operational performance, and participate in measuring objectives to identify and improve network performance gaps.
  • Process Development & Administration - Create and maintain standard operating procedures, generate operational work orders, and complete associated administrative tasks to support delivery planning.
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement - Ensure data accuracy with strong attention to detail, interrogate systems to support job completion, and contribute to training efforts to maintain consistency and compliance.
Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Core Systems - Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and familiar with essential platforms such as SAP and ClickSoftware.
  • Effective Communicator - Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear interaction across teams and stakeholders.
  • Thrives in Fast-Paced Environments - Experienced in working under pressure, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in dynamic settings.
