As aLandowner Liaison Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of Cadent’s engagement with landowners across the East Midlands. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that those who live and work near our high-pressure gas assets are well-informed, supported, and confident in how to interact safely with our network. Whether it’s confirming receipt of our communications, explaining the importance of safe digging practices, or simply being a reassuring presence on-site, your work will help protect our infrastructure and strengthen our relationships with the communities we serve.

This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and meaningful interaction. You’ll be the face of Cadent in the field, representing our values, promoting safety, and ensuring our landowners feel heard, respected, and well looked after

  • Field Engagement –Conduct site visits to landowners across the East Midlands Network, ensuring they understand our assets and the importance of safe digging practices.
  • Variety –Enjoy a balanced mix of field visits and office-based tasks. Some days you\’ll be out meeting landowners; others you\’ll be handling emails, calls, and admin from the office.
  • Customer-Focused –Act as a key point of contact for landowners, delivering high standards of service and ensuring our communications are received and understood.
  • Efficient Planning –Manage your own visit schedule, planning routes by postcode and prioritising landowners effectively.
  • Data Accuracy –Capture and update landowner contact details and site visit records to the highest standard, ensuring timely submission into our systems.
  • Safety First –Comply with all HS&E procedures, including lone working protocols and use of PPE.
  • Team Collaboration –Work closely with the wider Operational Land Team and escalate any issues or insights to relevant colleagues.
  • Support Wider Activities –Assist with other land-related tasks such as easement plotting, admin support, and customer liaison.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience –Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Tech Skills –Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Attention to Detail –Pride in getting data right first time and maintaining accurate records.
  • Initiative –Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and solve problems effectively.
  • Flexibility –We’re looking for someone comfortable working both in the field and in the office, splitting time between site visits and desk-based tasks
  • Mobility –A full UK driving licence is essential. Weekend working may be required if weekday visits are unsuccessful.
