Support the governance and reporting frameworks that enable our innovation portfolio to succeed. As our Governance & Reporting Support, you'll play a key role in ensuring robust governance, high‑quality reporting and effective oversight across Cadent's Innovation portfolio. This isn't just about coordination – it's about strengthening assurance, improving data quality and enabling better decision making across complex, high‑impact projects.

This is a fixed‑term contract until Feb 2027 based at Ansty Business Park, Coventry, where you'll sit within the Asset Strategy function and support governance, reporting and compliance activities aligned to Ofgem GD3 requirements and internal frameworks. You'll contribute to how innovation projects are monitored, reported and governed, ensuring they deliver value and meet regulatory expectations.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Innovation, Finance, Procurement and Project teams, as well as key stakeholders across the business, providing insight, coordination and challenge to help maintain effective governance and portfolio performance.

  • Governance or Reporting Experience – Experience supporting governance, reporting or business support activities within a complex environment.
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to interpret data, produce insights and support root cause analysis.
  • Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Experience working across teams and building effective working relationships.
  • Attention to Detail – Strong focus on accuracy, data quality and meeting reporting deadlines.
  • Technical Capability – Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience of systems such as SAP Ariba desirable.
  • Adaptability & Organisation – Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a fast‑paced, evolving portfolio environment.
