We're looking for an experienced and proactive CDM Specialist to join our team, supporting construction and project activities across the East Midlands network. This is a permanent, full time role 37 hours, Monday to Friday with a hybrid working pattern. The role includes travel across the network and a standby requirement to support operational needs.

What you'll be doing
- Provide expert CDM guidance

- Support planning & delivery
- Contribute to construction phase planning and contractor mobilisation
- Ensure safety, environmental, and operational policies are embedded
- Audit, investigate & improve
- Conduct audits, investigations, and reporting on safety performance
- Engage stakeholders to improve risk management and outcomes
- Lead operational support areas
- Support and oversee plant, tools, and equipment management activities
- Ensure safe and effective use of operational resources

Experience
- Experience within programme or contract management environments is desirable
Skills
- Recognised safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH)
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and SHE standards
- Professional membership (e.g. IGEM, IMechE) is desirable
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Analytical and solution-focused approach to problem solving
- Full UK driving licence
