Be the trusted partner who keeps our West Midlands Network team connected.
Are you an experienced Personal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional support to senior leaders? We’re looking for a highly professional and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Director of West Midlands Network, providing the organisation, coordination and insight that enables effective leadership across a critical operational area. This role will involve regular travel across our West Midlands network footprint, giving you the opportunity to work closely with leaders and teams across the region.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the business, managing a complex diary, coordinating meetings and events, arranging detailed travel itineraries, and acting as a key point of contact between the Director and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll ensure priorities are effectively managed, communications run smoothly, and the Director’s time is focused where it delivers the greatest impact.
Working closely with Network Directors, the Customer Operations Leadership Team and colleagues across the business, you’ll provide trusted support, prepare and organise reports and meeting papers, manage incoming requests and correspondence, and represent the Director with professionalism and credibility. You’ll also act as an important link between senior leadership and employees across all levels of the organisation, helping to maintain effective communication and engagement.
This is a highly visible role where you’ll build strong relationships, handle confidential information with discretion, identify opportunities to improve ways of working, and make a genuine contribution to the success of the West Midlands Network.
Why you’ll love this role:
- Be a Trusted Partner. Work alongside the Director of West Midlands Network, providing expert support, coordination and counsel to help drive effective leadership and decision-making.
- Be at the Centre of the Action. Play a pivotal role in coordinating meetings, events, travel arrangements and business activities that support the successful operation of the network.
- Influence Across the Business. Build strong relationships with senior leaders, stakeholders and teams across the organisation, acting as a key liaison and trusted point of contact.
- Make Every Day Different. From diary management and event planning to stakeholder engagement and problem solving, no two days will be the same.
- Drive Continuous Improvement. Bring fresh thinking, challenge existing processes and help identify smarter, more effective ways of working.
- Develop Your Career. Work in a fast-paced leadership environment where you’ll gain valuable exposure to senior decision-making and strategic business priorities.
What you’ll bring:
- PA/EA experience supporting senior leaders.
- Excellent organisation, diary management and planning skills.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events and travel.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

- Highly organised and proactive.
- Adaptable and resilient.
- A confident communicator.
- Customer-focused and collaborative.
- Curious and improvement-minded.
- A champion of Cadent’s values and inclusive culture.
