Job Overview
As Account Director, you will be responsible for the overall management, growth, and strategic direction of a major Cadence account. You will act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, orchestrating a global account team to deliver exceptional value, drive revenue, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding Cadence's footprint and fostering longâterm partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that aligns customer objectives with Cadence's business goals. Lead crossâfunctional teams to deliver innovative solutions and maximize account potential.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain trusted relationships with Câlevel executives and key decisionâmakers. Establish governance structures to facilitate regular communication, feedback, and joint planning.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the account, leveraging insights to introduce relevant Cadence products and services. Drive growth across multiple business lines and geographies.
- Team Coordination: Align and mobilize global and virtual teamsâincluding marketing, technical experts, partners, and channelsâto ensure seamless execution of account plans and initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Implement effective processes and performance metrics to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure highâquality delivery. Represent Cadence professionally in all customer interactions.
- Innovation & Value Creation: Champion a culture of innovation, proactively seeking ways to add value and differentiate Cadence's offerings. Facilitate workshops, business reviews, and strategic sessions to uncover new opportunities.
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or consulting, preferably with complex technology solutions and large/global accounts.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire multifunctional teams across diverse regions and disciplines.
- Strong contract negotiation skills and experience managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Resilient, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Fluent in business English; additional language skills are a plus.
