Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a major cloud transformation programme, migrating business-critical applications and databases from on-premise infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.
This is a hands-on role combining cloud engineering, automation and technical leadership.
You will design and implement secure, scalable and resilient Azure environments while helping shape the organisation's long-term infrastructure strategy.
Key responsibilities: Design and deliver Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions Support application and database migrations into Azure Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ARM or Bicep Implement Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities and Key Vault Manage patching, vulnerability remediation and security baselines Develop automation using Power Shell and Bash Implement backup, disaster recovery, monitoring and observability Optimise cloud performance, cost and resource utilisation Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions Required experience: Strong Azure experience across Iaa S, Paa S and serverless services Infrastructure-as-code expertise, ideally Terraform Windows Server and Linux administration Azure networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls and VPNs Cloud security, identity and vulnerability management Azure Monitor, Application...
