This role is about overseeing and driving a best-in-class finance function which maintains the highest standards of compliance and rigour, and enables 21Hundred to advance its generational mission.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the fractional Chief Finance Officer, you’ll lead the core finance and investment deliverables at 21Hundred. You’ll have responsibility for financial management, reporting, budget management, forecasting and interfacing with investment advisors, as well as ensuring operational compliance. Moreover, you’ll oversee management accounts, cashflow, and will provide regular reporting (including on investment and risk) to the executive team.

This role will be perfect for an experienced candidate who knows ‘what good looks like’ in a finance function, and has the confidence and credibility to play a full role as an expert professional leader in a small, growing team. You must have a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks as they apply in the UK, and an understanding of financial frameworks in South Africa would be an advantage. Calm, organised, detail-focused and with excellent communication skills, you’ll be able to work independently and as part of a team, sometimes managing overlapping or fast-changing priorities.
