We are seeking an engaging and energetic Preschool Teacher to support our enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where children can explore new skills, build confidence, and develop social-emotional growth through hands-on experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support enrichment programs such as:
- Young Yogis – facilitate movement, mindfulness, and storytelling activities
- Kickstart Soccer – engage children in active, play-based soccer sessions
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote:
- Creativity and exploration
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Coordination and physical development
- Social-emotional learning
- Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment at all times
- Supervise children during enrichment sessions, maintaining appropriate ratios and active engagement
- Adapt activities to meet varying developmental levels and learning styles
- Support children in building practical life skills such as following directions, problem-solving, and cooperation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food-based programs
- Communicate positively with parents and school leadership regarding children’s participation and progress
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Experience or interest in one or more of the following:
- Cooking or food-based learning
- Youth fitness, yoga, or movement activities
- Sports or recreational programming
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to lead engaging, high-energy activities while maintaining structure and safety
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
