Job Overview: Cadence Design Systems is looking for a candidate to be part of its emulation application engineering team. If you like to architect and develop solutions for challenging problems in a fast and innovative paced environment, using state of the art technology then this is a great opportunity for you. As an integral member of the emulation application engineering team, you will work with industry leading semiconductor and system companies to deploy Cadence’s market leading Palladium emulation platform. You will work with the EMEA based AE and sales teams to provide technical support in the Pre and Post-Sales process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the deployment of Cadence’s market leading Cadence Palladium platform.
- Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and become the go-to expert for all of their technical inquiries and support.
- Work with the various Cadence sales teams and product developers to develop innovative solutions to address customer’s challenging problems.
- Provide proactive support and problem consultation to make our product users successful.
- Collaborate with R&D to introduce new emulation flows and solutions to customers.
- Champion customer needs and help R&D to develop competitive and creative technical solutions.
- Understand the competitive landscape and continuously work on differentiating Cadence’s solutions.
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented, work environment.
- Represent Cadence at technical conferences and trade shows.
- Deliver training courses for emulation.
- Lead projects and initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- BEng in Electronic / Micro-Electronic Engineering or Computer Science – or equivalent.
- Experience in using emulation and FPGA prototyping.
- Embedded software development and HW/SW co-design and co-verification.
- Experience of Hardware Design and Verification languages including PSL, SVA, Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog, System-C, TLM.
- Experience of the IP/SoC verification process.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environment including scripting languages.
- Good communication and presenting skills.
