Cadeler is a global partner in offshore wind farm construction and maintenance, and we are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are currently looking for a Survey Engineer (onshore) who will help us to run our projects ensuring technical specifications and industry standards are met.
What will you do?
- Manage technical specifications and support for survey & positioning on multiple projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise to different stakeholders, staying current with survey techniques through networking, conferences, and industry groups.
- Develop and review survey & positioning activities for installation processes, addressing challenges with subcontractors and resources if needed.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, procurement, and construction for seamless project execution.
- Coordinate survey & positioning subcontractors for offshore projects, managing equipment delivery and performance to meet project goals.
- Ensure project-specific survey activities align with client requirements through coordination with client survey teams.
- Support quality control and HSE activities to uphold high construction standards and accurate project records.
- Participate in key offshore or port activities, fostering communication between vessel crew, offshore teams, and office staff.
- Develop internal standards, methodologies, and documentation to enhance Cadeler's survey & positioning operations.

We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in offshore wind engineering or construction projects.
- Academic degree in Hydrography, Geodesy, Oceanography, Offshore Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in executing offshore construction projects, preferably within the offshore wind industry, including construction phases.
- Strong technical background in offshore survey and positioning.
- Project management skills encompassing planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Familiarity with hydrographic survey methodologies.
- Familiarity with pertinent industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
