What will you do?

As our new Assistant Contract Manager, you will support the Contract Management team throughout both the tender and project execution phases. Working closely with experienced Contract Managers and colleagues across the business, you will help ensure our contractual obligations are understood, managed and delivered while contributing to successful commercial outcomes.

Your Main Tasks Include

  • Supporting the review, drafting and negotiation of client contracts in collaboration with Commercial, Technical and other internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting with contractual matters throughout the tender process, including coordinating with Legal, Finance, Tax, Insurance and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the handover of contracts to project teams by identifying key contractual obligations and deliverables.
  • Assisting project teams with the day‑to‑day management of executed contracts, including contract variations, claims and contractual risks.
  • Supporting contractual matters relating to subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Contributing to financial forecasting, business control activities and promoting contractual awareness across the organisation.
  • Keeping up to date with contractual models, industry trends and best practices.

We think you will be a good match if you:

  • Hold a relevant academic degree in law, commercial management, engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Bring 1–3 years of relevant industry experience within contract management, commercial management, project management or a similar function.
  • Have an interest in commercial contracts and contract negotiations.
  • Are familiar with BIMCO Supplytime and/or FIDIC contracts (considered an advantage).
  • Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Have strong organisational skills, pay attention to detail and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Take a proactive, solution‑oriented approach and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
