Cadeler is looking for a Financial Controller with your skills and interests.

Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are now looking for a Financial Controller to help review, analyse, and challenge financial data to provide accurate and insightful reporting to management.

What will you do?

  • Prepare and maintain review cycles across Cadeler entities to ensure completeness, consistency and compliance in accordance with IFRS standards and internal policies.
  • Own financial analysis, reviews and reconciliations and provide supporting documentation across key accounting areas, as well as contribute to improvements of financial processes.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance by monitoring and improving financial processes across the group in collaboration with Accounting, Finance Transformation, Internal Controls, and External Reporting.
  • Drive planning and review cycles across Cadeler entities to ensure completeness, consistency and compliance in accordance with IFRS standards and internal policies.
  • Prepare and review timely control documentation required to enable efficient and timely controls execution to support a strong SOX environment.
  • Develop and continuously improve the Finance Manual to ensure consistent application of accounting policies throughout the Group.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly close activities in collaboration with Accounting and External Reporting and contribute to improvement of financial processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver input for audit and external reporting requests.

We are looking for a detail-oriented profile with strong analytical skills, that has a proactive and improvement-oriented mindset.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred or working towards one.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with audit, financial control or technical accounting.
  • Exposure to internal controls, SOX compliance, and cross-functional financial operations.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidation.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
