The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operative to support a civils project in Guildford. This is a short-term contract position starting this Thursday, with the potential to last a week depending on progress. The role will involve a mix of concrete, tiling and painting works, requiring a good all-round skill set and a practical, hands-on approach.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cutting out and removing existing tiles
- Carrying out concrete repairs, including filling and making good
- Applying two coats of emulsion paint to repaired areas
- General operative duties as required on site
- Working safely and efficiently in line with site requirements
Requirements
- Blue EUSR card (essential)
- Face fit – desirable
- Proven experience with concrete and tile repairs
- Painting experience (emulsion)
- Ability to work independently and follow site instructions
- Own tools and PPE preferred
