Full-time | Brand New Café | Exciting Opportunity

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our brand new café in Rochester. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an opening team and help shape a fresh, creative food offering from day one.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, from brunch favourites and fresh pasta to pastries and light meals, with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and presentation. The ideal candidate will have experience with both sweet and savoury dishes, ensuring every plate looks as good as it tastes.

This is a hands-on role in a busy café kitchen where teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude are essential. You’ll also support food preparation for table service, takeaway orders, and occasional street food events in our outside area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a range of sweet and savoury dishes (brunch, pasta, pastries, light meals).
