Our client is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to lead a £1.3 million high-end residential refurbishment project in Norwich. This is a contract opportunity for a proven Site Manager with a strong background in fit out and refurbishment, capable of taking full responsibility for site operations from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-regarded contractor delivering a bespoke residential scheme to a high specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the site as the No.1 Site Manager
- Manage subcontractors, trades and site labour to ensure programme targets are achieved
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate all refurbishment and fit out activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Liaise with clients, consultants and senior management
- Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and progress reporting
- Maintain site records, RAMS and health & safety documentation
- Monitor programme, quality control and material deliveries
- Ensure compliance with all current HSE regulations and company procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a No.1 Site Manager on refurbishment and fit out projects
- Previous experience delivering high-end residential projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and site coordination
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage programmes and drive subcontractor performance
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications essential
- Stable track record working for main contractors or specialist refurbishment contractors
