We’re looking for a Head of Permanent Recruitment to build, lead, and grow our permanent division. This role blends hands-on 360 recruitment with oversight of a delivery consultant supporting M&E candidate sourcing. You’ll focus initially on generating permanent revenue, strengthening client relationships, and shaping a structured perms operation, with the long-term aim of growing the function into a multi-consultant team across construction and M&E.

Key Responsibilities

  • Permanent Recruitment & Client Development
    • Grow permanent opportunities within existing accounts and new construction clients.
    • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.
    • Take detailed job briefs, negotiate fees, and position us as a trusted permanent hiring partner.
  • End-to-End Delivery
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle - from job qualification to placement.
    • Source candidates through networking, referrals, and targeted search.
    • Interview, shortlist, manage processes, and handle offer negotiations.
    • Build long-term candidate relationships for repeat and referral business.
  • Leadership of Delivery Consultant
    • Guide the delivery consultant on sourcing priorities and role delivery.
    • Maintain strong pipelines across construction and M&E.
    • Support candidate qualification and ensure accurate CRM records.
  • Desk Ownership & Performance
    • Run the perms desk as a revenue-driving unit.
    • Build and manage pipelines of clients, roles, and candidates.
    • Ensure accurate forecasting, activity tracking, and margin performance.
  • Building the Perms Function
    • Establish scalable processes for permanent recruitment.
    • Leverage existing client relationships to develop the perms offering.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the team as demand grows.
