We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing main contractor, seeking an experienced Working Foreperson to support a strong pipeline of refurbishment and fit-out projects across London.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on position combining site supervision with practical involvement where required. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on programme, to the highest quality standards, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations—particularly within live and occupied environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and quality expectations
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
- Plan and manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and residents
- Provide hands-on support on the tools when required
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Working Foreperson within refurbishment and/or fit-out projects
- Strong understanding of project sequencing and site coordination
- Experience working within live or occupied environments
- Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification, along with First Aid qualification
