The Delivery Lead plays a critical role in driving the performance, quality and output of the Resourcing Hub. This team supports all divisions across the business - Temp Construction, Temp M&E and Permanent Recruitment, filling roles won by consultants and maximising candidate delivery speed, reliability and quality. This is a hands-on role, responsible for daily workflow management, allocation of roles, optimising fill rates, ensuring compliance accuracy, and developing the team into a high-performing delivery function. You will be the central point of coordination between Sales, Directors, Compliance and the wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Workflow Management
- Oversee the daily activity, workload and priorities of the resourcing team.
- Maintain a consistent, efficient operating rhythm covering availability checks, outreach activity, and candidate pipeline generation.
- Lead daily resourcing huddles to review gaps, workload, live jobs and upcoming demand.
- Delivery & Performance Management
- Ensure fast, accurate fulfilment of temp bookings - most within 60–120 minutes.
- Drive best practice across availability management, outreach, redeployment and candidate engagement.
- Monitor team KPIs (temp, perm and hub-wide) and initiate corrective action where needed.
- Maintain exceptional fill rate and shift completion performance across Construction and M&E.
- Support Perm provision to ensure longlisting/shortlisting timeframes and quality levels are consistently achieved.
- Data, Compliance & Systems
- Ensure all roles, activity and placements are accurately recorded in Tracker.
- Work closely with Millie to maintain data quality, compliance records, and shift documentation.
- Guarantee minimum compliance standards across the team (RTW, CSCS, tickets, qualifications).
- Review and improve workflows to reduce admin friction and speed up delivery.
- Candidate Acquisition & Pool Growth
- Drive proactive candidate sourcing strategies to grow active temp and perm talent pools.
- Oversee daily availability updates and ensure the team builds both depth and breadth of candidate coverage.
- Lead structured sourcing campaigns for new desks, new sectors or new offices as required.
- Ensure redeployment is maximised - workers placed again within 7 days wherever possible.
- Lead Qualification & Internal Communication
- Qualify all leads passed by Directors before assigning to the relevant resourcer.
- Extract key data from CV screening (new client info, hiring managers, project insights) and pass accurate intelligence to Sales.
- Act as the key liaison between Sales, Directors and the hub to ensure seamless communication and fast turnaround.
- Team Development & Standards
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to resourcers to build capability and consistency.
- Develop new starters within the Hub and monitor quarterly bonus metrics around availability, compliance and outreach.
- Ensure the team adhere to operational rules, SLAs, and internal standards.
- Create a culture of urgency, accuracy, professionalism and teamwork.
Skills & Experience
Experience in recruitment delivery, ideally across temp labour markets, with a demonstrated ability to manage workload, prioritise, and work at pace. Strong organisational and administrative capability as well as a confident communicator who can coordinate between multiple functions. High attention to detail and strong understanding of compliance requirements. The ability to lead by example and set high standards for the team. Resilient, solutions-focused and able to operate in a high-volume environment.
