Mechanical Project Manager Location: Andover, Hampshire (with travel to project sites) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in Mechanical Building Services to manage projects across the Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Residential and Public Sectors. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical projects from initial planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion. Overseeing mechanical installations, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, pipework and plantroom systems. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and site teams. Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and resources. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing solutions. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015 and RAMS. Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Managing commercial activities, including cost control, variations and forecasting. Attending site meetings and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Overseeing quality control, testing, commissioning and project handover. Managing works within live and operational environments while minimising disruption. Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M
