Electrical Installer – Permanent Position Location: East London Position: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum + Package The Opportunity We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established client for an experienced Electrical Installer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working across social housing properties throughout East London, carrying out a range of electrical installation and upgrade works. The role will have a particular focus on submain upgrades, electrical distribution and lighting installations. Key Responsibilities * Carry out electrical installation and upgrade works across social housing properties in East London. * Complete submain upgrades and associated electrical distribution works. * Install, replace and upgrade lighting systems, including communal and residential areas. * Carry out electrical works in occupied and unoccupied social housing properties. * Work from electrical drawings, specifications and site instructions. * Test installations and ensure all works are completed to the required standard. * Identify faults and report any issues requiring further attention. * Ensure all installations comply with current electrical regulations and relevant standards. * Work safely and in accordance with site-specific health & safety requirements. * Manage and prioritise your own workload to meet project deadlines. * Coordinate effectively with other trades and members of the site team. * Communicate professionally with residents, clients, contractors and site management where required. * Maintain accurate records of completed works and report progress as required. Experience Candidates should have: Proven experience working as an Electrical Installer. Experience with Site Temps / temporary site electrical installations – essential. Strong experience in electrical installation and upgrade works. Experience carrying out submain upgrades and electrical distribution works. Experience installing and upgrading lighting systems. Experience working within social housing or residential environments. Experience working in occupied properties is desirable. Ability to work independently and use own initiative. Experience managing and prioritising your own workload. Experience working under pressure and to strict deadlines. Experience coordinating with other trades and site teams. Qualifications & Requirements Essential: ECS Card. City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent. Current electrical regulations certification. Minimum Grade C in Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualification. Proven electrical installation experience. Desirable: Previous experience working within social housing. Experience of submain upgrades and lighting projects. Experience working within occupied residential properties. Training for the role will be provided where required. Package Additional package.
