CCL Facades is part of the Caddick Construction Group and delivers high-quality façade solutions across a range of exciting construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Facades Buyer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the procurement of façade materials and systems, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery across projects.
Working closely with the Bid & Pre-Construction team, Project Managers, suppliers and Commercial teams, you will support projects from early-stage procurement through to successful delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Develop procurement strategies, scopes and tender documentation; evaluate bids and negotiate agreements.
- Source and manage façade suppliers, subcontractors and manufacturers, ensuring capacity, quality and long-term value.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams on approvals, buildability, samples, testing, warranties and certification.
- Deliver savings, value-engineering options and clear commercial recommendations.
- Manage programme and supply-chain risks, including long-lead items, design delays, fabrication, logistics and installation sequencing.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven façade, curtain walling or external-envelope procurement experience.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, supplier-management and technical coordination skills.
- Knowledge of façade systems, drawings, installation, CWCT guidance, testing, fire safety and UK Building Regulations.
- Construction, façade or engineering background; CIPS qualification desirable.
Personal Attributes
- Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit.
- Good management skills.
