Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and diligent Fleet & Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of the companys fleet vehicles (cars and vans) and Caddick Group-owned plant equipment. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and optimal utilization of assets across the business. In this role, you will maintain compliance with industry regulations, provide strategic recommendations for asset management, and produce detailed reports to inform decision-making. Your ability to plan, negotiate, and collaborate with internal teams will be important for maximizing the commercial value of the fleet and plant assets. Key Responsibilities Fleet Management: Manage the ordering of company cars in line with policy documents and employee requirements. Maintain an up-to-date fleet database, reporting changes as necessary. Review and update the company car list bi-annually, recommending additions or removals based on uptake and obsolescence. Provide monthly mileage reviews (actual vs. proposed contract mileage) and ensure compliance with DVLA regulations for grey fleet drivers (insurance, licenses, V5, MOT, tax).
