Caddick Construction is a family-owned business with strong values of quality, integrity, and innovation. We are looking for a Site Engineer to support in the delivery of our Industrial, Logistics and Commercial projects. The role will involve setting out, dimensional control, quality assurance, and site coordination, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of our sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out duties of site setting out and dimensional control, ensuring works align with contract drawings.
  • Assist with QA processes, maintaining records, ITPs, audits, and reporting.
  • Manage material and product testing in line with specifications.
  • Support the Site Manager with daily site operations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, design teams, and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, as-built information, and survey data.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in surveying, setting out, and QA processes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Fieldview/Viewpoint.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in Industrial, Logistics, Commercial construction projects as opposed to heavy infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or equivalent career experience.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Additional certifications (e.g. Temporary Works Coordinator, Confined Space) are beneficial but not essential.
